I recently requested and received all my military records. Going through the documents I spotted Jarrold on the same manifest of order (Army) 6 September 1968 as my own name. I paused to reflect as I remember first meeting Jarrold as both of us used the delayed entry program from May, 1968 and were sent to Fort Campbell Ky for basic training. One heck of a guy, loved to visit with him and Carol "over the fence" and share a toddy when we had time. Will always miss his good nature, and he is forever in my heart.
