Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with Heather, Jacob, and Nicole - I can´t begin to imagine what your family is going through. Jason´s smile truly lit up every room at Meijer. No matter the day, he was always ready to teach, coach, or just share a laugh. He will be deeply missed here.

Heather, Jacob, and Nicole, I worked with Jason for many years at Meijer. He would talk about his family, and I would share stories of mine. I remember him sharing pictures of his son's first vehicle and how proud he was of him. He talked so fondly of your trips to Key West and the quality time he shared with his family. We always made time to talk about THE Ohio State Buckeyes. I will miss him and my heart hurts for you all at this time. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Heather, Jacob & Nicole. Jason was truly such a kind man whose welcoming nature, kindness, and laugh will always be remembered. I am grateful I had the privilege of working with him for several years. He spoke often and proudly about you all, and so many of our conversations reflected how much he truly loved and cared for his family. I am especially thankful I ran into him and shared a great conversation just weeks ago. He will be truly missed.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jason..calling on him at Meijer over the last few years. I didn't know him well but aside from his professionalism, he was always so kind and pleasant to work with. I got the news yesterday and am still in shock. My deepest condolences go out to the family. So so sorry for your loss....

Heather, Jacob, and Nicole- I had the esteemed pleasure to work with Jason for the past few years. He was truly one of the kindest men I have ever met and carried great rapport with any and all he came into contact with. Jason was a phenomenal pillar, respected and appreciated by all who had the opportunity to know him. I will miss our weekly meetings that were nearly always derailed as we exchanged stories about family, boating, and fond memories and often ended in laughter. Jason will be...

Dear Heather, Jacob, and Nicole, I am writing this so I could share one more story about how incredible your husband and father was as a person. We got to know each other through work, but even when we did not have work in common, we talked quite often. We would talk about family, we would talk about the time you spent together and he even gave me advice on boats and showed me yours. He would always take time to just catch up and laugh together. There will never be a smile like his. ...

Jason truly had a kind heart. His absence is a huge loss. I appreciated his kindness while working with him at Meijer. I will be praying for Jason and his family.

I worked with Jason for years at Meijer and I am glad to say that we remained friends even after I left. Whenever I messaged him or ran into him, he always took time to catch up with me and to make sure I was doing ok. An honorable and decent human being that I will miss.

Heather, Jacob, and Nicole- I wanted to reach out and extend my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Jason was an extraordinary person, and his absence will be deeply felt by all of us on the team. He made such a positive impact on so many people, always making sure that everyone felt valued. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Jim Van Rees
