Hey Jason, we served together in New Orleans. I got to know you well and enjoyed your company. We hung out a few time after getting back home to Washington State. I just went through all my army papers and found some pictures of you. It brought back lots of memories. I love you and miss you lots brother. Thinking of you and your fallen Brothers. I don't make it down to the graveyard as often as I used to. Always wipe it clean, straighten the flags, place small white stones and offer a joss stick of incense.
Hard to believe that nearly 8 years has passed since that firefight. We will never forget your dedication and service. May it not be in vain.
