I just found out today that one of my teachers from RHS passed earlier this year. Jason Brenner took a chance on me even though I completely screwed up my rendition of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" during the bridge, and he put me in the high school A Capella group. I was going through a lot that year, but singing in that group was a huge source of relief for me. To this day, I still love to sing. (Ask all my friends who I drag - kicking and screaming - to the karaoke bars with me!) The...

Jason had the most infectious smile and so much talent too. What a tremendous loss to his family and friends but also to the theatrical world where his acting and musical talents enriched so many shows and entertained so many of us in the audience.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Jason and his mother Jackie. Jason was a magnificent and kindhearted young man that I had the pleasure to hear sing for many years. I'll always remember Mrs Brenner as a wonderful person and a patient teacher. We were blessed to know them. God bless all of you in your time of sorrow.
