    Mr. Jason Lee Cheek age 44 of Clover, SC., formerly of Blairsville passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 7, 2021 in Clover, SC., following a brief illness. Jason was born on August 30, 1977 in Atlanta, GA. Jason’s life was his children and his music.  Jason was of the Christian faith. He loved playing the drums and had performed in multiple bands over the years. He was a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his father William L. Cheek, Jr.


    Surviving Jason are his mother, Diane Martin of Greenville, SC., two children, Patience Cheek and Adalynn Cheek both of SC., one brother and sister in law, Josh and Nikki Cheek of Blairsville, one sister, Sharli Martin of Spartanburg, SC,. Nieces and nephews, Ashton, Braylee and Charlie, many other relatives and friends also survive.


   A Celebration of Jason’s life will be held on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. from the Mountain View Chapel with Rev.  Nathan Helton officiating. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help cover expenses in Jason’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8:00 pm.
