Jason Dahl's life was changed forever by two events: His father allowed him to begin flight training when he was just 13, and a year later his older brother died serving in Vietnam.

On Tuesday, Dahl, 43, was the pilot of United Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania.

May God bless you and your family as the years go by. Although I had never met Captain Jason Dahl I have learned much about him. I share a passion of flying much like he did and I hope that the people in his family are doing well although many years have passed. People, much like me, will never forget Captain Jason Dahl and will continue to think about what he did during his life time.
