Not sure what to say?

Mr and Mrs. Daida , Jason's family .. I am so sorry about your loss.

Dr. Daida was my first engineering professor at the University of Michigan. He helped my fellow peers and I to venture out of our comfort zones and to truly commit to the level of work ethic that was necessary to succeed in the College of Engineering. Although this is a truly depressing occurrence, I hope that his family takes comfort in the fact that Dr. Daida greatly impacted the lives of the countless students that were lucky enough to call them their professor.

My love to the whole family during this time. Dr. Daida was a wonderful man, and I am so grateful to have known him and to see him with his wonderful family.

Dear Sandy, Kaily, Jeannie and Matt: I was so shocked and heartbroken to hear of Jason's passing. Our friendship goes back to the 1st grade. He was one of those I bragged about when mentioning successful classmates. I will miss him, the gentle, caring Jason. Please accept my sympathies.

Dr. Daida opened my eyes to a whole new way to look at the world and solving the problems we have. Not only was he an amazing and gifted professor, but he took interest in every single one of his students. I am so saddened by his passing, but please know that Dr. Daida truly touched the lives of many.

So sorry for your loss. Still remember vividly the image of him playing an electronic keyboard and wearing an ear phone so not to disturb baby Matt's afternoon nap.

I will always remember Jason's unique laugh and his unending kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Jason's love lives on in your beautiful children. Jason's teaching grows in the students he has moved. His life spark will be passed on from generation to generation. Miss him deeply, but be comfort by the piece a Jason that lives within you.

We are all so sorry and sad by this news. The Daida Family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
