Jason Allan Delk, 28, of Lake Park, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Jason was born September 12, 1982 in Hahira, a son of James E. Delk, Sr. and Vickie Boyd Delk. He was a member of New Life Community Church, and was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and the Atlanta Falcons. When Jason put his mind to something he did it. He was always there for anyone and always put others ahead of himself. Jason is survived by his wife, Andrea Delk, and three children, Corbin Delk, Ashton Mason and Caleb Mason, all of Lake Park; his mother, Vickie Delk of Valdosta; his father, James Delk, Sr. of Valdosta; a sister, Jennifer Lee and her fianc� Josh Hill, and their children, Joshua Hill, Cameron Carver and Madison Lee, all of Lake Park; a brother, James Delk, Jr. and fianc� Jerri Dutton, and their children, Stormy Delk, Ansley, Hunter and Chase Dutton, all of Valdosta; a sister, Rachel Marie Delk of Valdosta; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Boyd of Valdosta; paternal grandmothers, Rachel Aul and Karen Taylor, both of Valdosta; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jerry and Laura Inmon of Lake Park; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James W. Boyd and Thomas Delk, and an uncle, Tommy Delk. Funeral Services for Jason will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 in the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Allsbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
