Dear Doherty Family,
I have such beautiful recollections of teaching Jason at Georges Vanier School in Bramalea. The other day I came across the small framed teacher print that Jason had given me and I wondered how he was doing. There's one story that epitomizes Jason. At work, a vendor had walked in and looked distressed. He told JD that his daughter's car had broken down a few miles down the street. JD, without hesitation, offered to drive down there after his shift and see what he could do. Low and behold, he got the car running.
