Cathy and John, we just learned of Jason's passing. Our heartfelt condolences to you both. We know the pain you are feeling...we lost our Andrea, too. Again, so very sorry for your loss.

Cathy I am so so sorry. I know you and your family are going through unfathomable pain. I had to finally accept that God has a plan and cling to the hope I will see my daughter again. I feel so bad that your family has to go through this. I will pray for you.

I was a TA in a chemistry class that Jason took during the Fall of 2019. In all of the semesters that I have worked at Palomar College, and all of the lab sections that I had assisted with, Jason's class had the most warming comradery out of any, and there is no doubt in my mind that it was due to his example setting academic ability, approachable personality, and incredible sense of humor. I had the pleasure of working w/Jason (& John) at The Great Lakes Shipping Co. His sense of humor made him popular with coworkers and customers alike. During the restaurant's 44 yr existence, I employed over a thousand young people. Jason was one of the best. I'll always remember his smile, wit & character.
