JASON ALAN HAM VALPARAISO, IN Jason Alan Ham, age 33, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 as a result of an accident. Jason was born in Hobart and was a lifelong area resident. He loved to fish, watch NASCAR and restore old vehicles. He was currently restoring a '72 NOVA in his garage. Jason will be greatly missed. Jason is survived by his children: Dalton and Heather Ham and Zachary and Alexis Lindahl; father, Keith (Cathy) Ham of Hamlet; mother, Peggy (David) Castle of Valparaiso; fiancée, Sharon Wilfong of Valparaiso; brothers: Stan Rhodes, David (Dorian) Castle, Jr., Adam (Shawn) Castle all of Valparaiso, and Josh Ham of Iowa; sisters: Darlene (Devon) Austin of Portage and Niki (Mike) Cleek of Chesterton; grandpa, H.F. (Lillian) Ham of Michigan City; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving friends and family. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dora Ham and Christine and Stanley Pangburn. Memorial contributions are preferred to Jason's family. A funeral service for Jason will be Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart with Pastor Alan Westmoreland officiating. A visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 2:00-9:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, (219) 942-2109 or online at www.reesfuneralhomes.com
