Not sure what to say?

I was telling a fellow Iraq veteran about Jason recently.... it´s been so many years now.... I just wanted to post this , and let the family know that we still remember him, we still talk about him, and in that way he is still here.

Our family attended church with Jason and Emily in Lakewood, WA. My husband has served 29 years with 4 deployments, so this is coming from an experienced Army wife. Jason was an amazing, Godly young man and my heart still hurts when I think about his sacrifice. I was honored to attend his memorial at Ft. Lewis and hug Emily at the conclusion of the service. I know Jason is with his Savior and I also know that he touched the lives of many through his military service and his service to God. I...

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Harkins Family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Jason R. Harkins US Army Sergeant. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded...

Thank you for your service. You will be remembered always.

My flag for Carry The Load 2014

To the Family of Sgt. Jason Harkins,

You don't know me and will probably never meet me, but my dad works with Bob. He knew I was participating in an event called Carry the Load in Dallas Texas on Memorial Day, 2014. My dad spoke to Bob about how he had 2 sons in the Army and a daughter in the Navy (me.) When my dad found out that Bob was the father of a soldier who died in Iraq he asked if I would be willing to carry his memory in this event.

I said yes immediately, and I hope...

I was just thinking about you today... you were the best friend I guy could ever have. See you again some day bro.

Six years and it never gets any easier! I miss you my brother! See you on the other side! - Gladiators for life!

This entry is in memory & honor of Jason, recognizing 6 years of his passing. We remain grateful to Jason and his platoon for their service and sacrifice for our Country.

To the family and friends of Sgt. Jason R. Harkins:
Always remembering Jason. "Some gave all."
