Not sure what to say?

Jason, It's been almost 7 years since your passing and like many others I still miss you. You were the best partner, roommate I could have ever asked for and you were the best friend to myself and many others. The tattoo on my arm is a constant reminder of how stubborn you were and how you wouldn't shut up until I got it, but I'm glad I did. And like many other people I can't hear a Social D song without thinking of you. Miss you buddy.

I only recently learned of Jason's passing, which accounts for the lateness of this message.

Jason was an amazing, high-spirited individual who, to this day, remains one of the funniest and wittiest people I have ever known. His sense of humor, combined with his intelligence and unique insight into the human experience, ALWAYS made for the most entertaining conversations and evenings out on the town. With Jason, there was never a dull moment...literally. Jason could easily have...

Jason. We have shared so many good times and great adventures that it is difficult to recall a fond memory in which you were not involved. I miss you man. You’re my best friend and will always be in spirit and thought.

Jason,

You knew how to make all of those who knew you laugh. You and your humor will be missed. - Adam

Jason,
We will miss you. Thanks for all the fun times

As a childhood friend living just around the corner from Jason, I have tremendous memories of Jason. From playing Army and fighting in the barranca to rebuilding his mom's Camaro and hot rodding all over VTA back in the late 80's. Fun memories that I will always cherish. Me and his group of buddies from back then will miss him.

I will always remember Jason as a student in my drafting class. He was bright, capable, and interested in drafting. But more importantly, Jason was the proverbial "class clown", but in a way that livened my class, tickled my funny bone, and delivered good humored laughter to me and his classmates. I am very very sorry to read of his passing; he is a student I will always remember with a big smile and thankfulness for having had him as a student who often made my day. My thoughts and...

Jay....the memories of all the good times we had will live forever. All the fun times we had when we were E.M.T. partners. All the the crazy times we had when we were roommates. Thanks for all these good memories. Jay you are now free from anything and everything on this Earth that can hurt you or keep you down. Just know that you are still here with us in our hearts and thoughts. Watch over us... Take care Brother.

We're sorry we can't be a part of the celebration of Jason's life, but we will always remenber the wonderful times in the Vta. Scouting Troup w/the entire Johnson Family. Thank you for the great memories. May the love of friends and family carry you through your loss and grief. Bob, Barbara Vogel, Santa Paula - Todd, Pam & Family -Boulder, Co.
