Not sure what to say?

Still think of you often dear friend. Miss your wonderful laugh and food. Love always.

Jay, I still think of you often. I miss your beautiful energy in my life. I speak of you often to friends about your passions for fly fishing, your education, your son and of course good food. We had so many good nights of drunk conversation while you cooked amazing food. Always in my heart dear Jay.

From It's a Wonderful Life, "Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around, he leaves an awfully big hole."

Fill that hole with a passion for what you do and love and concern for others, and Jay would be pleased.

Deep sympathy to everyone touched by the sudden loss of Jay.

Godspeed Jay. Rest in Paradise.

To the entire "Jay" Family

You have no idea how many lives Jay touched, especially in our Grand Rapids Restaurant Family ! My life was blessed having been touched by Jay, he taught me so much and gave me so many laughs ! My warmest thoughts for your entire Family !

To Jason's family. I knew Jason during his days at the GRCC culinary program. I was one of his first instructors. By happen-chance I saw this notice. Jason was a very special person that traveled to own beat, a refreshing person with so many interests and talents.

His dad was one of my 7th grade teachers, so to be able to teach to my teachers son, was a great honor.

A life that has ended way to soon.

Jim Muth - Retired GRCC Culinary instructor.

I am so sorry for your great loss. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

I opened up Roses with Jasin in 1994 and later worked with him in Saratoga Springs
Always a good guy, gone to soon.
Warmest thought and prayers to the family, especially his son
Doc

Jay worked for me in Saratoga Springs, NY a couple of racing seasons and was always a joy to have in my kitchen. I was saddened to hear of his passing. My prayers go out to his loved ones, I know he will be missed.
