Today my daughter who is eight was asked to do a grave rubbing at a local cemetary of a soldier in honor of memorial day. Each day we pass this cemetary without knowing who lifes lay underneath the markers we were driving by. My daughter was drawn to jasons gravesite and stood crying wondering how and why people fought in wars and lost lives... As I look through all these pictures of u I remember that night u left for Iraq. You and I were playing ping pong in the day room of building 626. Shortly after u and my dad and the rest of u guys left and I couldn't wait for u all to get back. The day my dad (u friend and platoon sgt Neil) told me of your passing I didn't know what to do.
