Not sure what to say?

Time helps the pain, but never stops the memories of a great Soldier. SPC Lucas was the epitome of an empathetic and strong Soldier. His impact and smile is forever lasting. Though its been many years, we will never forget you.

Thinking about you and Joe playing darts up Heaven and just hanging out. I'm so sad that you both are gone from us but comforted knowing you guys are having fun together again. Love & miss you!

Jason was a wonderful friend and uplifed everyone who knew him. I met Jason while he was stationed at Ft Polk. He was always smiling and joking around. You couldn't stay in a bad mood around him. He was truly a blessing to all who knew him. He loved his boys and always talked about them. He will forever be missed and never forgotten. May God bless his family and keep them them in his arms.

Jason did what most of us could never do, give his life for his beliefs. God bless Jason and his family, he will never be forgotten.

To the family and friends of Spc. Jason Lucas:
Please accept my remembrance of Jason on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

Today my son deployed to Afghanistan wearing Jason's memorial bracelet.

Goodday, my name is Capt Jim Quinn and I am a Canadian Nursing Officer who was deployed with the Role 3 hospital on 13 Oct 2006. I wrote the following poem detailing my experience of that day. I have wanted to share this with Jason's friends and family for a long time and I must thank Jason's mom Beth for her permission allowing me to publically note that my poem concerns her son.

I must note that the poem I wrote deals with my immediate experience when Jason arrived for care at...

Wish the Lucas Family the best in the comming year. I will remember Oct 13 every year for the rest of my life.
