When Lee Burdine called me and told me of his passing, I was still just a high school kid with little understanding of the sacrifice he made. 9 years later I am a paratrooper in an SF battalion and I...

Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

Did not know Jason. Ironically, I was googling my son's name Jason Courtenay and came upon this info. May God grant this family strength and comfort through this difficult time of loss. He sacrificed his life for all Americans and this should not ever be forgotten. God bless our military. I will pray for the family during my next service.
