Send FlowersJason R. Mercer, age 39, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013. He was the fiancé of Crystal Curran. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Paulette (Sicard) Mercer and Richard Mercer and the step-son of Charles J. Keezer. Jason served in the Marine Corp., he enjoyed karaoke, golfing with his brother, playing softball and he was also an avid New England sports fan. Besides his parents and fiancé, he is survived by his children, Corey, J.D., and Kendra Mercer, Haley Curran and Victoria Alvarado; his brother, Chad Mercer & wife Melissa; half brother, Cody Mercer; his grandchildren, Jaleina Quinones and Jaydon Curran and his nephews, Nicholas, Noah and Nolan Mercer. Visitation will be held in the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM followed by a service at 7:00PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be appreciated.

Jay was one of the best people I knew. Always quick with a joke or a funny story. He was my go to guy in a time of sadness. Even now in difficult situations I think of his humor. God must of needed a jester in heaven and found the perfect sidekick. God be with you my friend. You will forever be missed and remembered. You were a treasure and a blessing in my life. Rest well.
