Fort Rosecrans

Went to visit your grave site today. They are replacing the grass in your area. I wiped the dried dirt off of your headstone to make it look cleaner since we had rain recently. I think about you and your family often. Thank you for your sacrifice to our country.

I am a senior in high school in a government class. My assignment was to search for a fallen hero and reach out to his or her family. This might not mean much, but I just wanted to say thank you for your service, Jason. Because of this, not only me, but countless others are able to enjoy our freedom. You will never be forgotten! Prayers to Jason's family.

Thanks again,

At my feet was a daisy...
