I am so sorry to hear of Jason's passing. I remember him still of so many years ago. He was a remarkable man and such a great artist! I am so very fortunate to have known him!!!

Jason's was the only Bris and Bar Mitzvah we ever attended. We thought of ourselves as your token Gentiles and loved celebrating these special occasions in Jason's life. We also have enjoyed looking at his Every Person in New York book. It is a project celebrating the joy of life. Our hearts are breaking for you and you are constantly in my prayers. I only know Jason through his work, which I adored. The other day I went to a book store on 86th Street to look at his drawings for a boost of inspiration. I could always count on him for that. I loved the way the captured dogs, dog walkers and ordinary people going about their business. His MoMA inspired me to do the same at other museums.
