Not sure what to say?

I knew Jason (and Karen, his future wife) in the mid-70s before I moved away from the NYC area. I believe I last time we actually spoke was 1992. Still and all, I am deeply saddened by Jason´s death. He was a good friend during that time in my life.

Jason sometimes called himself "God's dancing partner." I have no trouble seeing him in that role now. A gentle, graceful, humorous, and loving soul who guided many of us in the steps of "the dance."

You were my dear friend. So glad to have met you in DBSA. You are loved.

At year's end, I gave a donation to Oregon Center for Public Policy in Jason's memory. I encourage others to give donations in his memory to whatever non-profit they feel is in harmony with Jason's work and spirit!

I met Jason in the Oregon Consumer League days. It was such a wonderful experience helping as much as I could with OCL business, but more importantly spending time with Jason at a restaurant for lunch, at a coffee shop, or wherever. Just seeing him walk down the street towards one of our meetings and his smile when we met was a treasure that I will always miss. I will be looking for you Jason. You are an absolute treasure!

I am stunned and so saddened to hear of Jason's passing. He was such an advocate for the people and what he deemed social injustice. During the late 1990's he helped me in ways I could never repay. You were a gentle compassionate soul Jason. This world has lost one of the best. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Jason was my close friend for 30 years. He was brilliant, creative, a talented poet and novelist, and enormously fun to be around. He was deeply spiritual. He loved Dostoevsky and Tolstoy. I will miss you always, dear Jason. May you rest in God's peace.

Jason, you were a light and inspiration to all who knew you. Your love of the truth helped to set you free, and in your freedom, you helped so many to find their own path to healing. You will be missed by all who knew you, and I pray that your memory will live on in all of our hearts. You left a legacy of love, and I feel very blessed to have known you.

Jason was a good friend for many years and I find it hard to believe he's gone.
