Jason Lamar Ross, age 28, a native and resident of Gray, La, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until Funeral Services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 at Community Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Southdown Cemetery.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lashawna Steward Ross; Son, Devonta Ross; parents, Robert Lee Ross Sr. and Carolyn Diggs Ross; brothers, Timothy and Robert Lee Ross Jr.; and sisters, Theresa McGuire and Karen Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elsie and Norman Diggs, and Gertrude and Elijah Ross II.
Arrangements entrusted to Community Funeral Home of Houma.
This is heartbreaking!! Jason was always so sweet to me in high school even when the rest of the world wasn't! I've always appreciated his kindness! Prayers to his family!

Hello ik y'all dnt kno me but I was incarcerated with Jason he was such a funny dude keep me laughing and sane I remember y'all coming to see him and we seeing y'all leave in the Bentley (dats Wat we called y'all SUV :) from Rayburn corrections he was a real good dude and he use to hook my Levi jeans up ik y'all remember his stylish ways
