Brooklawn Funeral Home - Rocky Hill Obituary

Jason Todd Sipes, 54, of Newington, CT, passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2020 at home with his loving family by his side after a fierce four-year battle with cancer.  Born in New Britain, CT on January 30th, 1966, he was the son of Ann Marie Zappone (Liistro) and JT Sipes Sr.

Jason loved to travel, including long road trips, especially to his grandmother’s house in Bolivar, Tennessee to relive years of memories all while creating new ones.  He enjoyed traveling to the coasts of Maine and Rhode Island to watch the sun rise with his family.  His greatest loves were his children, and being a stay-at-home dad was his greatest joy.  Jason proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1985 to 1989.

Jason leaves behind wife Beverlee, they would have been married 22 years Saturday, May 23rd.  He is also survived by son Tayler Nadolny-Sipes and fiancée Rachel Miller, daughter Leila Sipes, son Jesse Sipes, mother Ann Marie Zappone and husband Ron, sisters Michelle Rini and husband Matt, and Marcie Nance, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Jason is predeceased by his father JT Sipes Sr. of Tennessee, and brother JT Sipes Jr.

Burial and services will be private with his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please donate in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children. The family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support and love they have had during this difficult journey.

Not sure what to say?

My most heartfelt and sincere condolences to Jason's family. Many of my best childhood memories include Jason. It didn't matter what we were doing; playing cards at his aunt's house, riding our bikes on the trails, shooting bottles and cans in the woods or just hanging out playing football in the court, we always found something to laugh about. Although it has been a long time since we've seen each other, I know that we would have picked up right where we left off. I will miss him very much....

Im so sorry for your loss

Truly sorry for your loss. Just know that we love you and are here for you and the family.

Jason - you will be missed! I could not think of a better way to honor you. Jason's 50th, and he's on his game. Beverlee, Leila & Jesse - a piece of your husband and dad will live on in each of you. Please be at peace.

R.I.P. my brother. May peace be with you.

To my "Irish Twin", thank you for so many wonderful memories that are now cherished gifts. Words can't express my love and admiration for you, but that's ok because our life long bond has always said it all. Life is an adventure and I am so grateful that you have always been such a big part of mine. We will continue our adventures now in different places but our bond and love will bring us together again one day, Until then find comfort in the love that will surround your wife and children...

Deepest sympathy to Jason's family. I worked with him at AW Direct. He was a great guy. I hope he is at peace and no longer suffering

My sincere sympathy. May the Lord give you comfort and peace during this most difficult time.

Prayers to his family. Beverly he's safe with God, may all the blessing be with you and the kids. Love you guys so much. I'm sending all my love to you and the kids.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jason's family at this trying time. I was a coworker of Jason's many years ago. He was a good man and will be missed.
