Bailey & Foster Funeral Home - Palestine Obituary

   Funeral services for Jason Chadwick “Hoo Hoo” Slate, Jr., will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Evangelistic Temple with Rev. Brandon Szabo officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood City Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Palestine.


   Mr. Slate passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was born December 14, 1999, to Jason Slate, Sr., and Lea Ann Alexander Espinosa. He was employed with Baze Chemical. His interests were, hunting, fishing, four wheelers, 4 x 4 trucks, dirt bikes, and music. He enjoyed acting goofy and making others laugh.


   Mr. Slate, was preceded in death by his grandmother Kathy Alexander, and grandfather Clifton James Slate.  He is survived by his parents; Jason and Brandy Slate and LeaAnn Espinosa, mother of his child, Casey Jo Haney, son, Jason Beau Davis Slate, grandparents; Debra Slate Guyer, and Mike Alexander, sisters; Skylar Alexander, Nina Evangelista, Haylen Link, Aspyn Espinosa, Bella Espinosa, and Haven Espinosa.


   Pallbearers will be J.P. Hollingsworth, Bryce Ballard, Kam Collier, Jeremy Roberson, Hunter Warren, Will Ivey, Ben Haney, Mathew Fischbach, and Dustin Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers will be C.T. Brooks, Todd Brooks, Kaden Joyce, Mark Owens, Christopher Slate, Ryan Byrd, and Blane Scheppler.


   Condolence calls will be received one hour prior to service time at Evangelistic Temple.
