Anyone who knew Jason knew that he was a smart, kind, creative, capable, and persevering person. His ability to connect with others - and his giving nature - made him a special force in the lives of many lucky people. Jason and I met 24-years ago in Naples, NY and our relationship grew from friends to coworkers to bandmates and, for the last 16-years, partners and parents. I couldn't possibly convey the amazingness he brought to my life with his patience, insight, sense of humor, and...

Jason was that neighbor who always made you feel welcomed and willing to lend a helping hand. My condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. He will truly be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

I first met Jason shortly after he moved into our neighborhood (Illinois St). It was Christmas Day and the first time I attended a bottle share at his place. That night, I got to know a few of my neighbors a little better and would frequently share a beer or three on Jason’s famous Purple Porch with Jason and Myrtle, and often, a couple of those wonderful neighbors. I have lots of great memories chatting, biking, and listening to Jason’s wise beyond his years insight.

Well, the neighborhood will be a little less welcoming and friendly. Always wonderful to stop and chat with him over the sound of Myrtle barking at my dogs. He will be missed.

Jason and I shared a love for art and although we weren’t close friends I always had mad respect for Jason. He sought his passions in life and had a kind heart and love for humanity. He’s surely missed. To his loving family and friends I’m sending you all my love and comfort during this time of mourning. Jason’s spirit will live on in those lives he touched. ❤❤❤

Jason was truly a special human.

To me he was a close friend, mentor, neighbor and co-gardener. Jason was always fun to be around and it always came with great conversation. Jason was always there for me and helped me in so may different ways. I am sure many can say the same – he always was able to see the best in everyone. I am going to miss our deep discussions over a pint on the purple porch and the many craft beer adventures we went on.

To Jason's family and friends - my sincere and loving condolences. I was lucky enough to meet Jason 9 years ago when he hired me to be his accounts receivable clerk at Axzo Press. I was nervous about my first "real job" in an office setting. Jason made me feel at ease right away - his goofy yet nurturing nature soon had me excited for work, because it meant I would get to see my friend. I continued working with Jason over the course of the next 9 years at 3 different jobs. We worked well...

I met Jason at pharmacy college and he remained one of my best friends through life. We shared many beers and adventures, we philosophized, pontificated, argued, and even found time to play some kickball. He introduced me to different ideas and music, he had a profound impact on my life. I'll miss him dearly.
