Jason Rodger Vedder, 46, of North Platte, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 4, 2022, at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln. Jason was born on June 28, 1976, in North Platte, the son of Rodger Frank and Verna Marie (Lehn) Vedder. Jason graduated from North Platte High School and was currently working as a manager with Masonite Corp. He loved to play pool and golf, and participated in several bowling team leagues. He was an avid Husker fan and loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved children and grandchildren. Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Vivian Lehn; and paternal grandfather, Verlin Vedder. Those left to cherish Jason's memory are his parents, Rodger and Verna Vedder of North Platte; paternal grandmother, Francis Vedder of North Platte; daughters, Kelsey (Adam) Dailey of North Platte, Brooke (Mike Rickett) Rosales of North Platte, and Vicki (Tom) Madziarek of Lempster, New Hampshire; son, Jarrett Vedder of Omaha; grandchildren, Haley Madziarek, Wyatt Rickett, Rhett Rosales and Elara Dailey; sisters, Lisa (Greg) Stiffler of North Platte and Tami (Josh) Telitz of Brady; three nieces and seven nephews; former spouse, Jennifer Quiroga; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family. Online condolences may be shared at carpentermemorial.com. A celebration of Jason's life is at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at the American Legion Club. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
