The Smith Family - Earl, Laura, Dustin, Nicholas, Anderson, Wesley

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jason's death. I remember him from the days when he was a student here at Trinity High School. He was always so full of life and energy. Sister Shawn gave me a copy of the booklet from the memorial service. The cover photo of Jason captures him perfectly . . . with the wide smile he so easily shared.

My prayers and the prayers of our entire school community go out to Mr. and Mrs. Zala, Jamie, and everyone whose life was touched by Jason....

I WAS SAD TO HEAR THAT JASON IS GONE I PLAYED SOCCER WITH JASON AT TRINITY. I REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN HE WAS ON THE BUS GOING TO GAMES.IT WAS FUN TO WATCH HIM PLAY IM GLAD I HAD A CHANCE TO BE ON THE FIELD WITH HIM.MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY.

KEITH MEROLLA

I wanted to give my respects to the Zala family. I played soccer with Jason on Emerald when we were younger. I remember Jason as the one player who was always up beat and would encourage everyone else on the team. I will always remember him for being a great friend. Take care.

Kevin Jackson

Dear Kathy & Chuck,
Jason is one of the many soccer mates of Kevin's that I always remember. He was full of fun and got along with all the players on the team, especially Kevin. I was shocked to hear about his death from Gail Barna and my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. We were hoping to make the Memorial Service on Sunday but we will be out of town. However, I wanted you to know that our hearts are aching for your loss at this time.

In fond...
