Jack was a man I did not know very well, but the times I did spend around him were very friendly, talking of memories and the happenings of Buckroe Beach. Jack and his wife bought the house they have lived in from my mother. A few years ago I drove by and Jack was in the yard(my dad used to live across the street so he knew of me somewhat) I stopped the car and we began talking . I will sincerely miss my dearest neighbor. He has been a source of strength and my personal neighborhood watch since moving across the street from he and Miss Jean in 2001.
