Not sure what to say?

Uncle Jasper, As we are all going to miss you, right now I picture you with that sweet smile on your face as you see my mom and Dad along with grandpa and grandma Butera, Sam Sparduto, and so many more familiar faces. I picture this long table like at the holidays, and you are all together having a great time, catching up on things. The best part of this is that you are no longer sick, and along with everyone else in the family, you are now watching over and smiling down on all of us. Love,...

Uncle Jabo, I'm so glad I spent some time chatting with you and listening to your WWII and big-band stories. You were a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Dec. 6, 1941: I'll remember that date as when you were in the Pacific on the way to Asia when Pearl Harbor happened and the ship turned around. And then you found a way to put your musical talents to use for the troops stateside. Your songs are in our heart.

Our prayers to you all.

Uncle Jasper, I'll always think of you as a gentle soul. I'll miss your big band stories, your distinctive walk and your wonderful desserts. Hope you're playing the sax with your old buddies right now! Love, Heather Jean

My brother, John Saviano, was an accordian player & good friend of Jasper. We send our condolences to the Butera family.
