Not sure what to say?

Dear Harriet, I am so sorry to learn of Jay's passing. My deepest sympathy to you and Susan and Melissa. I know that it has been a most difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope to see you soon. In friendship--Ruth

Dearest Harriet, Susan and Melissa, I just received word of Jay's passing and send to you and the family my most heartfelt condolences. My history with you guys goes way back to my teen years and I must say that since that first babysitting assignment with the family I have only good memories of Doctor Apflebaum, his genuine, unique sense of humour and kindness towards me, and later towards Michel. My deepest sympathy. May your memories help you thru this difficult time.

So sorry to see this Harriet. Jay was a bright, sometimes cleverly cantankerous, and loveable guy. I always felt I could relax when Jay was giving my patients anesthesia. He was the best and one of a kind. So sad; Condolences

I remember Dr Apfelbaum well, not only as my anesthesiologist many times but also working in the OR for a short time as an anesthesia tech. He was always very nice to me. God Bless him may he rest in peace.

Jay was a good friend and colleague over the years we worked together at St Lukes . He always did his best for patients and coworkers and was highly regarded . He will be missed . My most sincere condolences to his wife Harriet and the entire family . David David Scoblionko MD

My deepest sympathies to the family. I worked with Jay at SLH for 10 years in Open Heart. A well respected and talented physician.
