Not sure what to say?

Rest easy old friend.

Sorry to hear of your passing old friend. We had some great times in Junior high .Basketball, Football.Staying over. The warmth of your family! So long old friend.

Always thinking and remembering a wonderful man.

Jay will always be a kind, thoughtful memory of a man that loved his children more than anything. He loved his family more than his own life. JB, Morgan, Will and Conner. Jay was and still is a gracious soul to his family, friends, and co-workers. The fondest of memories will always be still in all of our hearts of his smiles, laughter and kindness. My heart goes out to his children and Malea and all that loved him.

I love you.

To all of Jay's family: I was very saddened to hear of Jay's passing. I'm really sorry I did not hear of it sooner!

Jay and I became fast friends the summer between 8th and 9th grade during a game of "hotbox" on his front yard. I can't even begin to recount all the events we shared through high school and college, but certainly some that stand out were the times we spent on Der Wunderbar at Grand Lake. Way too much fun!

I will miss him.

Dear Mary Ellen and all of the family,

I just heard the tragic news that Jay has passed away. Jay and I became fast friends way back in grade school. The memories are still with me as if it was yesterday. The sleep overs, playing whiffle ball over endless hours in Jay's back yard, the Barrier Gem's baseball team, basketball, and his wonderful supportive family will always be so special to me. Jay will be truly missed by everyone who came to know him.

With my sincerest...

Mike & I were so sorry to hear of Jay's passing. He helped us select our wedding rings over 6 years ago & it was always with excitement & appreciation that we entered the store to visit him. He was such a gentleman & so sincere in his dealings with us - he really made us feel special & that he enjoyed his part in our journey to finding the perfect symbol of our love. Our thoughts & prayers are with you and your entire family, and to those at Barrier's.

Jay always has such a friendly smile and warm greetings, I will miss that. My heart felt thoughts to his family.
