Dr. Brandinger had the misfortune to teach Differential Calculus to me at Rider College Evening School (I had failed the same course with previous professors).
His exams were quite difficult and frustrating, however I plodded on. Still not sure I deserved the favorable grade I received. He helped put down my foundation that has served me well.
There aren't many like him these days. He was a wonderful educator and an even better person!
