Not sure what to say?

Some of Jay’s brilliance displayed as a young musician. Jay was a brilliant tenor saxophone player. He could make that gold-plated sax scream or cry or sooth. Pete Brandt, Wade Butler and I played drums with Jay in various bands both in school and out. I remember is listening to every Blood Sweat & Tears albums and Chicago Transit Authority albums. Without his sax in hand jay would pump the air fingering every note to every song. When we got down to practicing he had already taught himself...

One of the finest Indian Princess Dad’s ever, you are missed Dear Friend! RIP

My condolences to Jay's family and friends. I remember Jay playing sax and Bill L on drums in the Band while we were growing up in Bloomington.
Jay is greatly missed.

I was thinking of Jay and decided to look him up on line to see what was going on with him these days. I was shocked and very saddened to learn that Jay had passed away in 2014. I was his secretary in the very early 80s, and he was one of the nicest, kindest men I have ever known. He helped me get much-needed back child support which included out of town trips and an amount of reaearch. He never charged me a dime for his work, and I eventually was able to get the money owed to me all...

always in my heart and mind. love and miss you J

I have such fond memories, of our high school days, I am saddened. Be with the angels Jay, you are definitely one of them.. Praying for your family.

I just found out yesterday that dear Jay had passed! I almost could not contain myself!

What a wonderful person Jay was! I didn't talk to him that often, but when I did, no matter what, he always seemed to be in a good mood. Always willing to help.

Jay, my friend, you left waaaay too soon! I will really miss you!

May you rest in peace.

I just found out today .... Jay got me in trouble with his mischief all through high school. We were in music and English together. He always had a smile to go with that long stride of his. I remember dancing at the country club with band x playing and Kim Sharp and I singing "Don't mess with Bill" .... Fun times. I light this candle ... Jays light went out toooo soon.

I love you Jay with all my Heart.
