I was so saddened to hear of Jay's passing. I knew him, through my friend Laura Patterson, and he would hang out with us every once in awhile. The last time I talked with him...almost 20 years ago, he looked so nice in his uniform and was so glad to be on the force. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I just found out about Jay's passing. I use to work at Vanderheyden Hall and he use to answer our calls alot. I haven't talked to him in years and I'm very sad to hear of this...God rest his soul.

I moved to Virginia Beach last year and just heard about Jay. We all hung out on Palwing ave togather in the early 80's. Jay was a good kid growing up. I lost contact with jay a few years ago but will miss him. Jay may you rest in peace.

Leslie, I was truly in shock when I heard of Jay's passing.It saddens me on a daily basis. I will miss him tremendously! We were partners in crime when we hung out together. We had alot of fun with both of us having a rather dry sense of humor.He used to talk to me so much about you and his family. I wish I had a picture of him, yet he was always taking pictures of my cats! If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know!! I will miss him very much... and my thoughts and prayers are...

WE WERE VERY SADDENED TO HEAR OF JAY'S PASSING.HE AND TOM WERE GOOD FRIENDS FOR MANY YEARS. TOM THOUGHT OF HIM AS A BROTHER.MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL. JAY WILL BE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS.
