Not sure what to say?

Dear Joan and family, I am deeply saddened to learn of Greg's passing. As one of his graduate students, I developed the greatest respect for him as a person as well as a physicist and I have always looked back fondly on those days working with Greg. He will be missed.

Dear Joan and family; I have always admired Greg for his vitality and enthusiastic approach to life; for his wit; his optimism; his high expectations; and his generous vision. Blessings to you and all for such friendship. Silvia Vilches.

Dear Joan, I'm one of Oscar's students, who also benefited from many Greg's advices. One time, my wife and I were invited to a party at your home (beautiful hoouse facing Lake Washington), and my wife was introduced to a magzine called "New Yorker", and she has it ever since, as she reminded me the other day. Please accept our deepest condolences and wish you and the rest of the family the best.

Dear Joan and all the Dash family, please accept my sincere condolences, wish you find strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Joan and the Dash family, please accept my sincerest condolences. In late 1985, I was a student in China applying to graduate schools in US. A kind and convincing letter from Prof. Dash led me to UW Physics, and eventually working with Oscar and Greg in their labs. Greg will forever live in my heart.

Dear Joan and all the Dash family,
We wish you all strength and comfort at this difficult time.
Fondly, Henry R. and Dorothy C. Feldman

May your beloved family find comfort during this time of grief. Psalms 68:20 states:" To the Sovereign Lord belong the ways out from death."
