I still think of you regularly Mr. Effross. You have meant a great deal to me throughout my life. You are still, truly missed.

Jay and I were roommates at the Phi Mu Delta fraternity house. I think of Jay every now and then because he was a funny guy and a good friend. I grew up near Stroudsburg in Newton, NJ

You were a great man.

I'm very sorry I just learned of Jay's passing a few years ago. My deepest sympathy to the family. We went to Clearview together then 7th grade SHS Jr. High then my family departed the SHS area. I never saw Jay again. My condolences.

I was shocked and saddened to read of Jay's passing. I was a friend of his brother Andy years and years ago(we both went to Bloomsburg U), so I got to know Jay, and he was a very nice guy. I express my deepest sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Effross, to Jay's sister, to Andy, and to Sarah.

I knew his name immediately upon opening the Perspective from Lock Haven University. Shock and extreme sadness for a wonderful person. I had not seen him since graduating from LHU in 1982 but he was a wonderful guy. My condolences to everyone close to him.

Just heard about Mr. Efross..even though I only attended SHS for one year I still knew who the man was...he had a wonderful and honest reputation in the school. So sorry he has passed away. Our thougths and prayers are with you.

My condolences to his family, he was a well liked teacher.
