Not sure what to say?

A great man. I worked at PHEAA for more than 30 years, and Mr. Evans, along with Mr. Reeher and Mr. Fabian, were among the visionaries who made the student loan industry great. Things changed for reasons beyond their control, but no need to go into that now. I remember Mr. Evans fondly, and he spoke respectfully to me of my father, Ron Taylor, who was the Public Information Director until he died in 1980. These guys were giants. Rest in Peace.

Jay was my first supervisor at PHEAA after I served in the military. Jay was a friend of my brother and they were high level basketball officials. Enjoyed working for him. Thinking of his daughters and their families.

Jody and Jill, I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget the fun days poolside with your dad grilling steaks or burgers on those hot summer days. Your mom and dad were so good to all of us! Grateful to have known him. Sending love and prayers for peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I had known your father since high school and then had the privilege of being his secretary for more than 20 years at PHEAA. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
