Not sure what to say?

Later this month the Philadelphia Flag Day Association once again host Philadelphia's 9-11 ceremony. Jay was always the thoughtful host who brought the shared remembrances from the Mayor, Police/Fire/Prisons Commissioners alive. Every year since he's been gone his spirit remains an integral presence. Special thanks to Stuart Furjanic for stepping up to further Jay's legacy.

I am so sorry to learn about Jay. I don´t know how I am just seeing this today. I am a social worker at DHS in Philadelphia and became acquainted with Jay when I was nee to DHS in the 1990´s. Jay was always pleasant, knowledgeable, and willing to find common ground in a court case. He served as a mentor and role model to many. Rest in Peace

On the anniversary of losing my dear friend Jay Ginsburg, Esq. I am reminded of all the laughter, good deeds and little acts of kindness that defined who he was. He will be forever missed. May his name be forever inscribed in the book of life.

Sherry and Alex, sending my love and heartfelt sympathies. My heart is heavy. I will cherish all the years working with Jay whom I called my Jewish brother and he called me his Sis. He had brought so much love to families throughout the years. Your work is done. Rest now Jay. Sorrowfully, Darlene Servance

Sherry, you don't know me but I met Jay when I worked in the Bucks County Orphans' Court. He made me laugh every time he came in the office. He would even come to visit me after I transferred to the Sheriff's Office. He was so kind to me when my daughter passed away. I retired 2 years ago & he would still mail me a box of Stutz candy every Christmas. He will be greatly missed.

Sherry: You and I have not met but I was fortunate to meet Jay when appearing at his office location for a deposition with another lawyer who rented upstairs space. That case became something of an ongoing fun link between us and after it concluded whenever I was in Norristown I would occasionally pop in just to talk with Jay about life. How wonderful those times were as our topics ran the gamut from the profession's foibles and judges of various personalities and proclivities to the more...

Sherry, I am so sorry for your unimaginable loss. Jay was a truly special person. He was a gentle soul, so kind and always a gentleman. You and Jay were one of my VERY favorite customers. I have absolutely loved working with you both for the past 20+ years. You two are so much more than customers to me. Jay was a model of how a man should behave. I am so very sorry for your family's loss, for the community's loss, for the adoption world's loss, for anyone who ever knew Jay's loss......

So very sorry Sherry May your family help you through this difficult time Love Vicki and Kenny

I am so saddened to hear of Jay's passing. Jay was an amazing man with such love for his wife and children. The first thing he would do when I saw him was to give me updates on his children and their successes. He was so proud of all of them. I met Jay almost 25 years a.go when I was considering adopting a child. He was so loving and caring. Jay made my day when I ran into him. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a kind word to say about everyone. I feel blessed that I had the...
