My condolences to Maxine, Andrew, and Michael. I had the pleasure of having Jay as a client for over 40 years. My memory of Jay was his passion for sports, especially his beloved Phillies. Jay was an inspiration when it came to biking and hiking, when it came to his worldly travels. To this day ,I still go to the many restaurants that Jay suggested for me to visit. I will miss all of his great stories and conversations that we had together.

Remarkable Jay! Our world was so much better for your presence in it with us. In addition to the characteristics of optimism, generosity, playfulness, and positivity mentioned by others, I will miss his razor sharp powers of analysis and problem solving. Jay was always searching for "a better way." Thanks to Maxine and his family for sharing him with us.

Jay was like a 2nd father to me growing up. There was never a moment when he was not smiling and laughing and telling a joke. I never saw him in a bad mood. I am grateful I got to spend time with him during those formative years. Thank you Jay, Maxine, Andrew, and Michael for including me in your family.

We will always cherish our fond family memories of being together with Jay. For Robert, being at your family's Thanksgiving table. For Myrna spending time in New York at your apartment. For Myrna and Jerry, the incredible Cuban trip. Along with other family times. We send our heartfelt condolences.

Jay was both a valued friend and fellow board member on The Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Jay´s voluminous knowledge of sports was unmatched and his legal acumen played a vital role in negotiating a favorable buyout from my longtime career. The obituary in today´s Philadelphia Inquirer perfectly captured the essence of a man who always wore a smile and had the empathy and energy to engage those in need. He will be greatly missed by many!
