Not sure what to say?

I met Jay through my late husband, Neil Milligan (brother of Jay's Mother). I was taken with his personality, bright, smart, always up to date on the latest news. I enjoyed our conversations when we got together at family gatherings. My heart goes out to Wanda & his extended family - all who knew & loved Jay, I am so sad for the loss of such a wonderful man.

I worked with Jay at Southern Bell then BellSouth. He was an excellent supervisor and manager and a fine human being. I remember Jay as professional, trustworthy, and an excellent team member. Condolences to his family.

I remember Jay from our working days starting at Southern Bell
He was a great guy who had many talents. Our thoughts and prayers
are with the family.

Jay was a friend like no other. He will be dearly missed.
He has been a friend all my Life it feels like. But, we only met in the 70's.
At the union hall.
Wanda, I am sorry for the family's loss. He was a good man with a strong will.
I have to many words to go on. I loved him dearly and could always pick up right we're we left off. We would go years without seeing one another.

With sorrow in my heart.

Jay was a dearly beloved friend and coworker and he loved to fish. The thing I remember most about Jay is the annual fishing trips we took when Jay had his house on Dunns Creek in Palatka. The trip consisted of 4 friends/coworkers fishing together for 4 to 5 days ending with a fish fry with the fish that we caught. I will never forget the fond memories I have of Jay Gordon.

Sleep in Peace Wreath

We have only gotten to know Jay and Wanda over the past few years through our daughter in law Mary, their niece. Jay was always a delight to converse with at family gatherings. He was very bright man and could carry on a conversation about anything, especially sports. He will be truly missed.

O God, who brought us to birth, and in whose arms we die, in our grief and shock, contain and comfort us; embrace us with your love, give us hope in our confusion and grace to let go into new...

I have know Jay for over 45 years. I got to know him when I started work for Southern Bell Telephone Co at Ft. Springfield. Jay was an excellent employee, an excellent Union Rep and was a very good Supervisor. Howard Collins and I help Jay dig the footers for the house in Callahan and put on the roof. Jay was very good at everything that he took on.
We ran into each other about 2 - 3 months ago at breakfast and spent 2 hours catching up with each other and former co-workers. More than...

Jay was a member of the BellSouth Network team in North Florida and had the respect of many for his knowledge and his getting the job done. My sympathies to all his family and close friends,
