Not sure what to say?

I was a young boy when I first met Jay. He was hired by my Dad to do wood working around the house. What a great guy. He took an interest in everyone and would tell me jokes. This was back in 1990 timeframe. Fast forward through the years and I would see Jay at the Eastside YMCA working out. I always made it a point to say hello and we would trade a few laughs. In 2018, at 38 years old, I was back in Erie and had to pick up a few odds and ends at the Harborcreek Walmart. Wouldn't ya know it,...

Lois,Brenda, and family,
I'm so sorry to find out of Jay's passing. His sense of humor always made me laugh(or groan) ever since first meeting him years ago doing maintenance at Gannondale. He certainly had a one of a kind spirit about him! He will be missed by all who ever met him for sure! My deepest condolences.

I miss my dad! So glad I had just seen him, with Mom, and got to have our last Chinese meal together! Love seeing his smiling face on here! I love you, Dad! Mom is doing well, very much taken care of! See you sometime, and glad you are with Jesus, hopefully, listening to Him, and not telling any jokes!
Love, Gretchan

Dear Lois, I am so sorry that Jay has gone home. Although I just recently met you and Jay, the minutes spent together will always be remembered. May God be with you and the rest your family and Jay's friends

Sorry about Jay's passing. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is in my prayers.

Carol and I offer our sincere condolences. We are sorry we will be unable to attend the service. We would like to donate to the Salvation Army in Jay's name if that is OK with the family?
