There was not time for friends to share in Jay's memorial service today. This is what I would have said. Jay was my spiritual director in the 1980's & 90's. I can't imagine who I would have become without his mentoring in my life. I would have been a much smaller person. He facilitated a dynamic of growth and expansion that totally changed the trajectory of my inner and outer life. I will always be deeply grateful for Jay's gifted guidance in my journey.

Marj and Family, Jay was such a marvelous human being and a wonderful mentor to me at a critical time in my spiritual journey. Your love and support of Jay as his loving family helped him to become who he was and who he could become in the world. You are in my heart and in my prayers as you live through these difficult days of grief. Love and Blessings, Debby Ellenberger
