Not sure what to say?

To Jay's Family
I only knew Jay through online Bob Dylan internet websites, but he was a pleasure to "talk" to, and very generous with his copies of rare Bob Dylan material. My heart goes out to al of you. If he was this kind and thoughtful to "strangers" online, he must have been a wonderful person to have as a family member.

To Jay’s family
We never met Jay personally, he was a member of our virtual internet community dedicated to the music of Bob Dylan.
That was where I “met” Jay almost 10 years ago and we never lost contacts.
He was greatly appreciated for his contributions to our group. Whenever one of his mails arrived, you could be sure to read some warm, friendly and often humorous words.
We will try our best to keep our group running in Jay’s spirit.

Dear Lori, I am sorry that we have been out of touch for so many years. I recently heard that you have lost your husband, and I wanted to reach out to you. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Hi Lauren & kids,
We are holding you all close in our hearts always even though we have not been together for a while. Know that we have been keeping tabs on you all through camp angels. Love to all and know that your dad is joking around with Erin floatin' on those rainbows and making sure that we are all being watched over very lovingly.

Howroyd Family,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will continue to think of Jay on our birthday and Reggie Jackson who Jay let me know years ago also had our same birthday. In Love & Kindness.~Erin

Gone too soon. He always said Hello in the mornings. He was always willing to help or just chat for a minute. I didn't get a chance to know him too well but I can honestly say that our office will not be the same without him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Lauren and Family-
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Bill Keyt

Mrs. Howroyd, I want you to know that you are in our thoughts. I know there are no words that I can ever say to ease your family's heartache.

To Jesse and the Howroyd Family,
We are so very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Jay. While we did not have the pleasure of knowing Jay personally, we are inspired by the lovely written tribute and have been fortunate to know his son Jesse, a wonderful teacher at the Soule Early Childhood Center in Brookline, MA. Jay's dedication to his family is evident in Jesse, always patient, loving and kind. We send our heartfelt condolences to Lauren, Jesse, Sarah, Amy and the extended...
