My deepest condolences to Jay's family and relatives on his passing. On behalf of many of his Grateful Dead music trading friends, it's safe to say that Jay was a FREAK! In the best intention of the meaning.
Meeting him at the bbq get-togethers where strangers became friends, coming up to the NY Metropolitan area he showed up year after year, always friendly, very knowledgeable and an eager Prankster in the activities. Jay was known for his finely detailed lists of music, CD-covers...

Jay -- Lindsay here from Dead Net Central -- I just heard and I wanted to add my most sincere condolences. You are a great lover of music and you are missed by all whose lives you enhanced. Be Well. Love and Mercy.
