I was so very sorry to hear of Jay’s passing. He was my favorite Tribune client for years and a friend. He was always kind, authentic and such a great guy. And although we lost touch over the years, I knew that the world was a better place with him in it. He worked hard and loved his family so much. He deserved to live to 100. My sincerest condolences to Pat and family.

Pat our deepest sympathy is with you and your family. Jay represented everything good in life and has left a tremendous legacy. Our prayers are with you and your family.

To Jay´s wife and family, please accept my sincere condolences on his passing. I´ve known and worked with Jay for many years at Jewel Osco, and he was respected and liked by everyone and will be missed.

I send warm greetings to Pat and to all of Jay´s family and friends. Knowing him at work through Jewel and into our retirement years was an absolute joy!
