Jay Lawrence Kriss

Jay was a wonderful high-school buddy. He influenced my daughters in the film industry and told them dreams can come true. Both now successful, one as a writer and the other a film editor. Jay your love of life and hard work can be seen in my children. You are so missed but live within all of us who's lives you touched.

Letting go of someone in their prime is very difficult. Jay was beginning a new chapter. A pleasure knowing him. Had he remained in Williamsburg, we would have had regular conversations about our respective life chapters. He would have understood mine like few could have. I think of him every time I walk into Merchant Square.

Thinking of you tonight, I only wish so many things could have been different.

So sorry to learn this news. I was just reaching out to Jay. He was very helpful to my son, Corey, in approach his film editing career in LA.

So very sad to hear of Jay's passing. He was a fantastic and engaging person and will be missed. Condolences to all who knew and loved him.

I was proud to call you my step-brother, and will miss the times we spent together.
