Not sure what to say?

Had a lot of classes with Jay and always appreciated his skill as a drummer in the John Harris band - he had a great sense of humor. We are losing too many of the class of 1960 ! Gary Markle

Remember when Jay became an accomplished cook/chef, He loved it so much I figured he´d go from fighting kitchen fires to heating the kitchen up with delicious treats .... At least we got to have some at the station.

Sue and i send our most sincere condolences to Joyce and The McKelvey family. Mack was my first partner in 1972, after we hired on with The bureau of Fire. I will always cherish those memories as i think of Jay.

Was in same class of firefighters to come on job.. Worked together on rare occasion afterwards.. He had fun loving attitude and sure made evening meal a treat.. He & JK often had tall tales of their adventures. Reliable help on the fire scene & later at the shop. May God bless Jay & all his family at this difficult time.

God speed my friend, Rest in peace. Prayers to the McKelvey family
