Grandpa (Jay) was my personal coach after football games it would feel like, called me after every game and would tell me after every game "good job" "proud of you" always had a positive for me after every game. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Our deepest sympathies to Linda and to the children, grandchildren, and siblings of Jay. He was a very outgoing and personable man . Anytime you bumped into him at a store or just around town you were met with a big smile and a heart felt handshake. Karen and I will always remember a "Badger Saturday " spent with the Meyers and Ambroses back in the day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all .

My condolences to the Meyer and extended family. Anyone that knows a Meyer feels like family. Jay was always gentle and thoughtful . Fond memories with all . Sending prayers and gentle hugs during this difficult time .

Jay was a friend, from at least 1960 when we were in summer school together. After I got out of the army, we renewed our friendship and Facebook helped continue the friendship.

So sorry to hear of Jay's passing..prayers for the family as they mourn this loss..

The News Of Jay´s passing saddens me. I´ve proudly known the entire Meyer family for most of my life. Jay´s parents raised Jay and all family members to be gentlemen and ladies. The times I spent with them was always wonderful and filled with precious memories. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Jay´s wife , his daughter, his son ,and the entire extended family . I shall always remember Jay´s kind heart and friendly demeanor. May the Good Bless him and keep him!
