Not sure what to say?

Peggy and I will always cherish the memories of the wonderful times we shared with Jay during the Masters and all the fun we had together.

Heaven will never be the same now that Jay and Hal are back together.
We miss you both.

Buddy and Peggy

I remember Jay from the Richmond Academy days. He was one fine individual.

Jimmy Love ... class of 62

I had the privilege of being Jay's neighbor in Oak Hill Apartments for about 3 years. He was a good neighbor, who was always eager to lend a helping hand or advice. I came to really appreciate what a good person he was. I would still see him from time to time at Publix on Washington Road, and he would always ask about my children and how things were going. It's like he never met a stranger. He will be missed, but I know heaven is a better place with him there as a neighbor.

Jay was a true friend who was always willing to assist others. A brilliant man with many talents, many life stories, and a great sense of humor. He will always be missed, but never forgotten.

Allison - and Carolyn - I am so sad for your loss. It's been a long and interesting road for us all, and I will always treasure my fond memories of Jay when we all first knew each other. He was the 'coolest uncle!' My prayers are with you. Love, Missy

Jay was one of the nicest, most caring people I know. We bought four cars from him over the years and his integrety was outstanding. He loved computers, golf, his daughter, and life in general. Although we only knew him marginally, we will miss him and think of him every time we drive down Washington Road. I have several pictures of him I would be happy to send to his family if they contact me in the future at my e-mail address.

With condolences at this untimely loss.
