Not sure what to say?

Our deepest sympathy is with all of you at this time. Uncle Jay has touched so many peoples lives that he will live on in spirit. What a very special man I only wish I could of been able to know him better. He was an inspiration to all. He will truly be missed. We love you all.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dear Family,
Please know the joy he had in teaching kids about engineering. He loved to tell stories and marvel at the bridges and contraptions that were built during SJSU Summer Camp. For this I think he was a good man.

AUNT BIRD, i WON'T BE ABLE TO HOLD YOU IN MY ARMS AT THIS TIME. HE WAS MY FAVORITE UNCLE AND WILL ALWAYS REMAIN IN MY HEART. I LOVE YOU. DEBBIE & BUTCH, YOU LOST A WONDERFUL FATHER AND FRIEND AND I LOST A VERY SPECIAL UNCLE. ALL OF YOU WILL BE FOREVER WITH ME AND IN MY EVERY THOUGHT AND PRAYERS. I LOVE YOU BOTH.

Our family grieves for your loss. We are comforted by the legacy Dr. Pinson has left. The number of people who have been touched by Dr. Pinson's spirit directly and indirectly is uncountable, and his contributions to our San Jose community are immeasurable. We are grateful for the personal experience of another of his legacies: the commitment to education that he inspired in Debbie, who has enriched the lives of each of our children and who is such a blessing in our lives.
